It's been awhile since I last posted. We have been very busy with a lot of great things happening.
So here is some Ohio news:
- A new bill being considered in the Ohio House is calling for 25% of schools to have solar panels on their roofs. While I like this sort of forward thinking I don't like when policy chooses a technology this specifically. I would rather see requirements around a certain percentage of energy( not specifically electricity) be generated from renewable sources. More details here
- Isofoton, a large Spanish manufacturer of PV panels, has committed to build a 60MW production facility in Ohio sometime between 2010 and 2011. Details here
